1. Online gaming spending now attracts a fee.
Before: No charges
Now: 1% fee on skill-based gaming transactions exceeding ₹10,000/month
· Applies to platforms like Dream11, MPL, RummyCulture
· Cap: ₹4,999 per month
· No reward points on these spends
2. Wallet Loading Charges Introduced
Before: No charges
Now: 1% fee on wallet loads above ₹10,000/month
· Applies to wallets like PayTM, Mobikwik (excluding PayZapp)
· Cap: ₹4,999/month
· No reward points on wallet transactions
3. Higher Cap on Utility Bill Payment Fees
Consumer Cards:
- 1% fee on payments exceeding ₹50,000/month
Business Cards:
- 1% fee on payments over ₹75,000/month
The cap increased from ₹3,000 to ₹4,999 per month
Insurance payments excluded
4. Rent Payment Fee Cap Increased
The fee remains at 1%, but the maximum per transaction has increased:
· Old cap: ₹3,000
· New cap: ₹4,999
5. Fuel Transaction Fees Updated
A 1% fee applies on high-value fuel spends:
· Over ₹15,000 for consumer cards
· Over ₹30,000 for business cards
New cap: ₹4,999 per transaction (up from ₹3,000)
6. Education Payment Fee Cap Raised
1% fee still applies on education payments via third-party apps

· Direct payments to schools/colleges: No fee
7. Monthly Caps on Insurance Reward Points
Reward point accrual for insurance transactions now follows monthly (not daily) limits:
